Italian auto design house Italdesign has debuted a fascinating new grand tourer concept, dubbed the GTZero, that is its unique vision of what a supremely innovative, all-electric grand tourer vehicle can offer when it embraces modular design and structural components.
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the GTZero grand tourer concept is powered by a trio of motors, two at the front and one at the rear. These three motors work together to offer up a combined total of 483 horsepower, enabling the vehicle to function on battery power and attain a top speed of 500 km. In terms of design, the GTZero features a curvaceous hood and bulky fenders that work to give it a supremely aerodynamic shape that helps it hurtle through at high speed.
Italdesign's grand tourer concept is unlikely to become a production vehicle, but is still a fine example of the style and power that can be exhibited in electrically powered vehicles.
