Google Search Caption Contest Seeks Humor & Insight

If you're creative and have a knack for captions, then enter the Google search caption contest, which is looking for the most funny, clever and insightful captions to go with a series of cartoons.

Udi Manber, Google's VP of Engineering and Cartoons, posted on Google's blog that he has always loved New Yorker-style cartoons and so the search engine giant is on a quest to "connect Google search and cartoons." With the help of artists such as Matthew Diffee, Emily Flake and Jim Woodring, Google has released a set of cartoons comprising characters in funny situations. The Google search caption contest asks people to submit what they think the characters are "searching" for in each cartoon. Submitted captions will appear on the contest page's website, and participants can also vote on the captions they like best.
