Keeping track of the hundreds of fonts freely available through Google is a challenge in and of itself, and pairing those fonts with one another is an exponentially more difficult challenge, which is why designer Lou Levit has released her new guide, 'The Ultimate Collection of Google Font Pairings and Combinations.' The guide, which is itself an impressive feat of graphic design, features pairings from Google's web font collection placed on top of images of classic artworks.
Levit's guide is searchable, having been organized by font style (i.e. serif or sans serif) and mood. The moods include modern, striking, eccentric, classic, minimal, neutral, and warm. There are 50 font pairings in the complete guide, and each example pairs a header with a body.
