Swiss design firm Leopold Banchini Architects designs Goodbye Horses, which is a listening and wine bar nestled in East London's De Beauvoir neighborhood. The entire space uses natural materials throughout the interior and it follows through the chairs, lighting, changing table, handrails, and more -- all of which are made from a single tree.
The founder of the studio, Leopold Banchini shares the design notion with Dezeen, noting "The aim was to create a contemporary space deeply rooted in the long-lasting tradition of English pubs. As in most pubs, the space revolves around a central wooden bar. In this case, the long wooden structure is a bar, a cooking counter and a table; thus, the relation between staff and customers is less constrained."
