The GO Kin is an eco-friendly backpack that generates electricity. What is both amazing about this backpack is that it doesn't draw energy from the sun or another typical source, but harnesses energy from the physical movements of its wearer.
The GO Kin backpack is equipped with a generator that is integrated into the bottom section of its main compartment. Two cables emerge from this generator and attach to the wearer's shoes, enabling them to convert the motion of the wearer's walking into electricity that can be stored and used as required.
The electricity that is generated can either be directed towards USB-connected electronics, or to an included lithium-ion battery for later use. Current prototypes of the GO Kin can harness the power generated from five minutes of brisk walking to allow for 25 minutes of cell phone talk time.
