Hide and seek is taken to a new level with the prevalence of low-cost consumer GPS devices. Geocaching is the name given to the art of hiding an object somewhere on the planet and providing only it's GPS co-ordinates to locate it. Sound easy? Think again. Although accurate to within a 3m radius, finding your "treasure" within that radius is a whole new ball game. Only the most dedicated and vigilent will succeed, usually writing their name in the cache's logbook and placing it back where they found it. The proverbial thrill is in the hunt I guess. Geocaching is catching on quickly and there are over ten thousand caches world wide. Happy caching!
