Last summer, Garnet Hill sought to bring its responsibly sourced home goods to consumers across the country by creating a mobile pop-up shop out of an old shipping container.
The Garnet Hill pop-up was created last August to promote the HSNi-owned lifestyle brand. The boutique itself was housed inside a converted shipping container decorated to look like a natural home environment with a shoppable twist. The idea behind the mobile pop-up was to give consumers a unique 'touch and feel' experience unavailable when shopping online or over the phone. As the President of Garnet Hill Clair Spofford explained, "The need for a tactile experience, and consumer desire for unique shopping experiences, are the driving force behind this mobile boutique."
By using a shipping container to create a mobile boutique, HSNi was able to bring the Garnet Hill brand to life.
