Ganni's 'Software' line is comprised of loungewear essentials that were made using recycled polyester and cotton. With stay at home orders in place and and many countries impacted by the second wave of COVID-19, consumers are looking to update their winter wardrobes with comfortable and casual items. As a result, unexpected designer brands are releasing high-end loungewear collections as part of their FW 20 or SS 21 lines.
Ganni's line calls itself 'Software' meaning its sustainable and incredibly low-impact. The collection is comprised of simple hoodies, sweat pants, crew necks, tees and more, all of which boast a minimal design and arrive in a grey or black colorway. According to Hypebae, this line was "crafted with responsibly-sourced yarn, the lineup uses 50 percent post-consumer recycled polyester and 50 percent recycled cotton from used plastic bottles and leftover scraps from manufacturing."
