The Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse (named after the company's racing department) is more than likely one of the last special-edition Gallardos. (The Italian supercar company has a habit of making a special editions.) The Gallardo Squadra Corse is a street-legal supercar inspired by the racetrack. Mechanically, it's a carbon copy of the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo track racer. Power comes from a 5.2-liter V10 good for 570 horsepower, numbers good for a top speed of near 200 mph. The lightweight components of the Squadra Corse keep its weight at a trim 2,954 pounds.
The interior of the Gallardo Squadra Corse can best be described as "spartan." Carbon fiber and aluminum make up the majority of the components (to save weight) and Alcantara covers the dashboard. Lamborghini is offering "comfort" spec seats, should you not want to experience what its like to sit in racing seats for hours on end.
