'GadgetTrak' Locates Stolen Technology and Shows the Culprit

GadgetTrak is an anti-theft software device that can not only locate your stolen computer or mobile phone with Wi-Fi positioning, but takes pictures of the thief and post them on Flickr. TechAmerica Oregon awarded GadgetTrak the ‘Cool Product of the Year’ honors for 2009. A lifetime license is about $60.
The GadgetTrak company has also partnered with FLIR Systems, Inc. in a new, high-tech service to locate missing or stolen infrared cameras and thermal imagers. Embedded ThermaTrak software tracks the IP address, hostname, and ISP being used once the IR camera has gone missing, and is connected to the Internet.
