Hot on the heels of its new IHOPS Pumpkin Pancake Stout, IHOP has announced the opening of its first location with a full-service bar. In other words, now you can enjoy your pancakes with a pint instead of a coffee.
According to local news outlets, a newly opened IHOP location in Phoenix, Arizona features a full-service bar and custom cocktails. The pancake joint took over the location from a former steakhouse, meaning a bar was already onsite when IHOP moved in. The franchise owner simply asked if he could keep the bar, and thus, a new beer-serving breakfast joint was born.
Open everyday from 6AM until 10PM, the restaurant serves all the classic IHOP fare, along with a special 'Rise and Shine' menu that includes craft beer and wine. Customers can also sample some of the custom IHOP cocktails such as the Mulemosa, The Blue Roof Bloody Mary, and the fruity Frozen Rooty Rita.
