The Fujifilm X30 Camera Has an Electronic Viewfinder
Rahul Kalvapalle — August 29, 2014 — Tech
The Fujifilm X30 is a compact zoom camera complete with classy retro styling.
The camera retains a lot of the key features of its predecessor, the X20. It has the same 12 megapixel CMIS II sensor and EXR Processor II image processor.
The biggest upgrade seen in the Fujifilm X30 is the switch from an optical viewfinder to an electronic one. This OLED viewfinder boasts 2.36 million dots, with a display lag time of just 0.005 seconds, making it the largest and fastest in its class. Its rear monitor has also been improved, and now comprises a 3-inch 920,000-dot LCD screen that can be tilted for easier shot composition and manipulation.
The camera will go on sale in September for $600, and will come in black and silver.
