Straight from the Fridge Exhibit a Worthy Cause

Earlier this year, in an effort to raise awareness for energy use reduction, Toronto Hydro commissioned some young and very talented Canadian artists to turn some vintage fridge doors into modern works of art. The amazing results of this initiative were displayed in the ‘Straight From The Fridge Art Exhibit’ which was held at the Junction Arts Festival.
But the goodness didn’t stop there. Toronto Hydro donated one of the fridge door masterpieces by artist Ryan Buchnea to this year’s HoHoTo (Toronto’s fundraiser for the Daily Bread Food Bank) auction. HoHoTo will be taking bids via Twitter until December 19 with all proceeds going to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
