To celebrate the cheesiest food holiday of them all, National Grilled Cheese Day, the family steakhouse chain Sizzler will be giving away free Cheese Toast. Originally created back in 1968, the chain now served more than 12 million slices of Cheese Toast each year.
On September 15, 2018, also known as National Grilled Cheese Day, Sizzler is inviting fans to stop by any participating restaurant to grab some free Cheese Toast. The giveaway will take place between noon and 2PM, and fans will also have an opportunity to win other sweet Sizzler prizes.
For the true Cheese Toast fans, the chain is also hosting a #CheeseToastSelfie social media photo contest. Fans simply post as photo with the cheesy side dish and the hashtag #CheeseToastSelfie to win a weekly prize of a $100 Sizzler gift card and some branded swag.
