Industrial designer Frank Flavell presents unconventional furniture designs in his latest collection. Cute, quirky and full of character, his designs are made by teaming up with product design firm & Then to make his imaginative creations a reality.
These creations include the Leaning Man tables and shelves, which boast vibrant and bold boxy surfaces on stilted legs. They are made out of ash and lacquered MDF. Frank Flavell has also designed the Standard Lamp, which may look like a typical floor lamp except for the unique, yet convenient side table built right into its stand.
All of Frank Flavell’s designs encourage a different type of interaction from consumers, who are left thinking about the intricate pieces long after leaving the studio.
