Budapest design studio Théque Atelier is the creative mind behind the Frame House, which is located by a forest in a village in Hungary. It is crafted to create a tranquil space for nature-loving owners, forming a stronger connection to the outdoors and nature. Théque Atelier took this into consideration and organized the living spaces purposefully in two rectilinear volumes surrounded by a large verandah.
Lead Architect of the design project, Gergely Almos speaks to Dezeen, stating "The main concept was a cantilevered framed porch floating above the sloping terrain to allow vegetation to creep under the house. The frame also marks two atriums, the arrival area and the sunny terrace, which strengthen the connection with nature and provide special transparent views between the different spaces."
