A fantastic collection of vintage-looking 'Found Object Rayguns' has come to my attention and I strongly wish that these futuristic rayguns shot out real lasers and made "pew, pew" sounds.
Kevin Skinner is the genius behind this handiwork. He is an writer and artist based in Detroit, Michigan where he creates these intricate guns in his workshop. Kevin's company is cleverly called Budget Raygun. These retro rayguns are all made out of found items that are seemingly fused together to appear to be solid.
Each raygun is given a unique name to fit its appearance; names like Powermate Flash, PistoLuner, Zgoda Ray Drone and my personal favorite C.G Conn Gideon (which is a raygun made out of an old brass trumpet).
