Local design firm Gonzalo Bardach Arquitectura has created the Forest House, which is a concrete woodland house that is topped with a ramping green roof. It is located on a coast just outside of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The ground slopes upwards to create the green roof which bridges the pavilion over the central space.
The founder of Gonzalo Bardach Arquitectura, Gonzalo Bardach speaks about the design process, noting "The architectural path in the Forest House is the main axis of the whole design, for which every sequence and space has been thought through. It is a clear example of how to take into account not only morphology and program needs but also the impact on the environment."
