The Flower Study photo series is a collection of exploding flower images that really make you question the longevity of nature. More than that, however, it also present two juxtaposing concepts: life and death, and creation and destruction.
Shot by New York-based photographer Bryan Warakomski, the Flower Study photo series was, nevertheless, born out of the simple curiosity of seeing the dynamic shapes flowers would take when exploded. Looking almost like confetti, the images do seem somewhat celebratory despite the violent nature behind each shot.
Considering that there seems to be a fascination with exploding objects lately, it is only natural that something like the Flower Study photo series would come about eventually, especially since it is the season for such blossoms.
