On the surface, the FLIP Color Changing Lamp is just a ball of light, but tossing it, throwing it and spinning it in the air turns it into the stuff of raves. Made by NONdesigns, these $485 orbicular lights are enjoyable and tactile for everyone to play with. By simply lobbing it around, the light changes color across the spectrum.
The FLIP Color Changing Lamp can create some imaginative and spectacular trails of light if moved around quickly enough, such as by rolling or whirling it around. Made from acrylic and Corian, the batteries can last up to eight hours after a full recharge, done through a plug-in charger. The orbs themselves are slight bigger than the size of one's palm, and have a NONdesign plated logo imprinted on the light.
