The DD101 watch is a funky bangle design that uses a flexibile electroluminescent display. The technology, called pSEL, means that there is a plastic electroluminescent device inside the bangle. Press the button on the side and the time is revealed. The DD101 was designed by O.D.M. design, whose chairman had this to say, "The DD101 is more than just a fashion watch, it fuses cutting edge display technology with an eye-catching design. Pelikon's pSEL technology has allowed us to create a product that not only has low power consumption, but also offers a bright, lightweight flexible display, setting it aside from a standard wrist watch." The DD101 is a concept which was previewed at the Hong Kong Clock and Watch Fair.
