The Flex Bin is a flexible trashcan designed using polycarbonate ribs. The Flex Bin was designed by Jon Liow and is wonderfully minimalist and low maintenance. The Flex Bin can hold loads of varying sizes and is not nearly as big of an eyesore as traditional trashcans.
I am someone who routinely fills my trash bin to the brink. Solid and inflexible trashcans are great for holding large loads, but they can be a pain when they are holding smaller, less-smelly ones. The Flex Bin would be a great bedroom or office trash basin. The simple structure means that hygiene would be increased: users would be more apt to clean it thanks to its simple structure. It would also be great if the Flex Bin could double as a stool when turned upside down. (I'm someone who demands more from my trashcans.)
