The First Reverse Marathon in history took place at Parque Centenario in Buenos Aires earlier this month. In order to effectively run in reverse, some athletes managed to fit improvised rear-view mirrors consisting of CDs attached to their caps. Fittingly, the numbers on sweatshirts were printed backwards!
Flashmob was the opening event for the IX Fuga Jurásica Multimedia Experimental Art Festival , that took place in the Museum of Natural Sciences Bernardino Rivadavia, an annual local event since 1988.
The integral concept of the festival is "Experiencing is good," which is where the idea for the Reverse Marathon came from. It was created and developed by Underground School of Creatives, who are responsible for the event's communication and planning.
