If you dreamt about being able to fly first class once in your life, now you can dream even bigger with First Spaces. Although still in its concept stage, First Spaces offers whole cabins modelled after hotel rooms. Although not as spacious, the amenities are still up to par with a large seating that converts into a comfy bed, plenty of space for luggage and premium multimedia with, of course, an Internet connection.
Conceived by design and innovation consultancy Seymourpowell, First Spaces rethinks the interior of aircrafts in order to provide a better experience for passengers. Head of Transport Jeremy White says, “We’ve previously developed ‘Morph,’ an economy class seat that allows passengers to buy more or less space depending on their needs, and ‘Flex,’ a configurable business seat that allows airlines to optimise the cabin layout for passengers. With ‘First Spaces’ we’re excited to have extended this thinking into first class section of an A380.”
