The 'Fireworks Villa' is Designed with Watching Fireworks in Mind
Christopher Magsambol — August 24, 2015 — Art & Design
The 'Fireworks Villa' by TTArchitects is a modern structure that lets its dwellers have perfect views of Japan's numerous fireworks displays.
Located just outside the city, the Fireworks Villa is situated the perfect distance away from Matsuyama's annual summer festival. The festival features one of the world's top fireworks exhibitions. The house also has a south-facing rooftop terrace, offering panoramic views of the cityscape. The terrace is also designed to be secluded and private in which residents cannot be seen by surrounding homes.
The rectangular home is fitted with many floor-to-ceiling windows, letting in an abundance of natural light. Not only is the home great for fireworks, all of its living spaces and bedrooms face a beautiful northern garden.
To create the perfect view, architects researched the best heights and distances to create the most optimal fireworks viewing experience.
