Fire Panda Recreates Studio Ghibli Scenes for Users to Roam Around

It was a sad, sad day when Studio Ghibli decided to shut its doors, but Fire Panda has found a way to bring its work back to life. The United Kingdom studio has recreated scenes some of Studio Ghibli's most iconic movies in order for people to roam around them. Not in real life, of course, but in virtual reality.
Fire Panda focused on the bus stop scene from My Neighbor Totoro, the boiler room scene from Spirited Away and the meadow in Howl’s Moving Castle specifically. Available for free via Vive and Oculus, these virtual reality recreations shows just how the industry can continue to grow by relying on existing worlds to draw from.
