Designed by British industrial designer Tom Dixon, the Fin Light is made out of aluminium and acrylic. While the top half features carefully slotted metal pieces, the bottom half is transparent, allowing the inner workings to be put on display. It is comprised of six LEDs that shine one beam of light through the acrylic lens.
The Fin Light has a whimsical presence just like balloons, despite the vast differences in materials. They not only share similar round shapes and a lightweight look, they are both a cheerful companion in home settings. Available in bronze, silver and blue colors, the Fin Light would add a party ambiance to any space.
The Fin Light is being unveiled at Luminosity during Milan Design Week.
