References: birkenstock & highsnobiety
Birkenstock introduces a special Filson collection that honors the German craftsmanship and Americana influence to nod to both of the contributing efforts. The two deliver a collection that will only be available to purchase in person on October 22nd at Filson's Milan and Cortina store locations.
It will be available to shop on Filson's website shortly as well as the Birkenstock 1773 website followed by Birkenstock stockists. Alex Carleton, Filson's creative director shares with Highsnobiety, "We wanted to create something original together. The project was driven by design and the excitement of new ideas and invention – combining elements that were unexpected in shape, form, and material. This is why the final result doesn't hit you with a direct reference — it's altogether new."
