The vintage supermodel revival has been put on high gear with Dsquared2’s Spring 2009 campaign featuring Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista.
Shot by famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the veteran uber models are seen engaged in a fierce battle over something that no one has made me privy to yet.
Meisel’s unique approach to this shoot has our two gladiators clad in elegant and seductive pitch-black garments with backless, cross-back details.
Even though I find the shoot kind of forced, I love the contrast between Naomi’s dark skin and Linda’s fair complexion ingenious and stunningly beautiful.
