Furniture company Best Made teamed up with Gerstner & Sons to created a new Field Chest inspired by the classic piece of furniture owned by the famous inventor Robert Edison.
Constructed with high-quality cherry wood, this piece boasts all-American materials and craftsmanship. Illustrator Ross MacDonald helped to design the look of the 12 uniquely sized drawers, each with a specific use for different items. The chest features curled brass knobs, a book cubby and a German-made custom clock as the centerpiece that covers the paneling that swings open to show a secret compartment.
The new exclusive Field Chest by Best Made holds a piece of history while offering modern storage space—it is for sale online now for $5,498.
