Montpellier’s summer Festival des Architectures Vives is an annual event which encourages artists to visualize the relationship between art and architecture within the backdrop of historic urban environments.
This year, a large LEGO-inspired structure invited adults to release their inner child, through a cubic structure called 'La Madeleine.' This unique installation was reflective of the year's theme of emotion, and was made using over 2,500 colorful bricks. Complete with an open-air skylight, this imaginative hut invited guests to reconfigure the interior, as some of the blocks were removable.
