Gap has partnered with Virgin Hotels to provide fashion deliveries right to your hotel room. Instead of ordering food or extra towels, this unique type of room service will offer the latest Gap styles and accessories.
The new room service system makes use of Gap's existing 'Reserve In Store' technology, which currently allows users to place items on hold at Gap retail locations. Guests at participating Virgin Hotels will now be able to use the same system to reserve items online and have them delivered directly to their hotel suite. The app is designed for guests who may need a new garment for a specific occasion, but don't necessarily have the time or opportunity to go shopping. Because Gap specializes in basics and contemporary fashions, the service is ideal for nearly all travelers.
Unfortunately the Gap fashion deliveries will only be available at Virgin Hotels in the Chicago area, meaning you will have to head to the Midwest to test out the new service.
