According to Oddee.com, “Eyebombing is the act of putting googly eyes on inanimate things in public spaces.” While it probably doesn’t make a lot of sense to most people, the ultimate goal of eyebombing an object is to add a little humor to urban environments in the hopes that it might put a smile on the face of anyone who happens to pass by it.
Unlike traditional street art, which often garners a lot of attention and vandalizes public property, the main goal of eyebombing is to subtly humanize the world by giving a face to everyday objects.
The wacky idea was cooked up by Kim Nielsen and Peter Dam, two Danish designers that took it upon themselves to revitalize the craft of urban street art.
