The Asus ExpertCenter PN64-E1 is an upcoming mini PC from the company and the latest release in the ExpertCenter lineup. This PC is the slightly larger, more powerful counterpart to the ExpertCenter PN42, which is a compact, six-watt computer that uses passive cooling.
As a result on the PN64-E1 running the more demanding Raptor Lake line of processors, the device features a larger chassis and will include an active cooling fan for heat dissipation. The upgraded processor options, though, enabled Asus to include 2x Thunderbolt Four ports on the device, which can be used for peripheral expansion, video-out, or even external GPU docking, making these machines far more versatile and capable of performing well beyond basic computer tasks.
The PN64-E1 features five USB-A ports, a 2.5gb ethernet port, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, and one 3.5mm audio jack for interface options. Asus has not confirmed the remaining details on the device, such as RAM speeds, storage capacities, or exact Intel processor models.
