Mahdi Naim Designs the EXOSKYN Silhouette for KORUX
References: yankodesign
Lyon-based designer Mahdi Naim has designed the EXOSKYN sneaker for up and coming brand KORUX. It is an architectural and sculptural art statement made with a blend of design and technology. Most notably, the silhouette is inspired by the human form.
At a quick glance, it looks like a unique silhouette but at a closer look, it is directly inspired by the skeletal structure of the human foot. The design is much more than a design aesthetic, it meets the standards of an anatomical look with its fluid and organic shape. The architecture is lattice-like and made with dynamic ribbing and ongoing lines that imitate how bones and connective tissues are harmoniously interacting with one another.
