Evergreen Brick Works is a Toronto social enterprise that strives to fuse urban living with nature. It's part community center, part garden and part environmental playground for the whole family. "Operating income will be generated from office space and event rentals; Evergreen Gardens, a mission-driven retail space; a café, summer camps; parking and other revenue-generating activity," writes the not-for-profit on its website.
