Lee Dong Ju is the creative mind behind the EV.BUDDY, is a progressive autonomous robot that can drive around and slide under an EV when it is running low on battery. The robot is a platform shape and slim in structure so that it can easily slip under any EV despite the size.
From here, it activates a range of sensors that detect the wireless charging zone from underneath. Once this component is found, the EV.BUDDY will raise up the coils to ensure that it connects with the car and the charging process will then begin. The EV.BUDDY has its own battery as well despite the slim size. Once it is completed its job, it slides out from under the car and to its station.
