It is recognized that the open concept classroom comes with many teaching benefits for a wide variety of interactive lessons, reducing the requirement for so many fixed furnishings. The Envelope Mobile Workstation has been designed primarily for occasional use, otherwise taking up little space in crowded schools.
When it's not needed, Palham Davey's product can be closed up completely into sufficiently slender dimensions so that it will tuck up against a wall or fit into a storage room or a large closet. Should additional desks be required for group, paired or individual activities, the Envelope Mobile Workstation can be rolled into position on its six lockable wheels. Open the two opposite triangular hatches on the top and the bottom of the unit and they form diagonal escritoires, offer plenty of drawer space beneath for stashing materials.
