Designer Jason Plumb has created a set of speakers designed to stand out for both their looks and their performance. The Enhance Speakers have a body made out of organic teak and speakers made out of acrylic. These materials give the speaker its unique looks and also help separate its sound from the boxy speakers most people are accustomed to today.
Even if you aren't a huge audiophile, you can still understand that having a speaker that projects sound out with no obstructions is better than a speaker that puts sound in a box. While the size of the Enhance Speakers is a little unruly, especially for those with compact workstations, I do love the direction of this concept and hope that Plumb takes the Enhance Speakers past the one-off concept stage.
