DEOND is a design studio by Ila Columbo and Ross Lovegrove and it has just presented the Enfold pavilion. It uses the physical and digital components to create an environment that is tranquil through the various sections of human physiology and psychology.
The Enfold pavilion was first unveiled at the d3 Design District during Dubai Design Week recently. The pavilion is made from motifs in a repeated manner from cardboard vertices -- this allows light to enter the space inside and the softness of the ambiance creates a natural sense of stillness. The slightly blue cast of the diffused light which is opposed to the sun's warmth coming in from above forms a quiet reflection in the interior space.
