With the Baby Boom generation growing closer and closer to senior citizen status, companies have begun to make products to cater towards the ever increasing aging population. The Electrolux Glide concept is a kitchen design that is meant to reduce movement so that the person can literally stand in one place when preparing and cooking their meal.
Created by the DIY team, the Electrolux Glide concept makes cooking easy by incorporating a series of panels that "float" across the kitchen top. The induction cooker and stove top are movable so that you can optimize the amount of counter space for preparation. Man, if only I was 65.
