To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Sherlock Holmes series, this electric pipe was designed by Jong Hyuk Bae for Peterson of Dublin's. The digital smoking device takes a somewhat abstract approach to pipe design yet fits in well with the other electronic smoking accessories currently on the market.
The pipe features an LED indicator in the bowl to bring the pipe to life as the user inhales to mimic the experience created with an actual burning pipe. Incorporating design aesthetics of modern vaporizers, the electric pipe is a modern take on a very antiquated pastime. It identifies how old traditions are being interpreted in new ways that merge classic design aesthetics with the technology of today.
