The Piet Zwart Institute has crafted some pretty spectacular edible dishes for those at home to use and then eat afterwards.
This project has a variety of positive benefits which include avoiding waste that is created by disposable dishes, dish soap, power for washing machines and water. It also just makes an all around more enjoyable meal. If you are eating a nice pasta or chili, the flavors would meld with the plates and create a delicious dessert to be enjoyed at the end.
The Piet Zwart Institute has displayed some fantastic outside-the-box thinking for this initiative, which will hopefully inspire more eco-friendly creations such as these ones. Areas like packaging need a similar make-over that is both cost effective and easy to manufacture.
