A new eco-friendly toy collection will be stocking the shelves of health food store Whole Foods this Christmas. In an effort to stay away from all the garbage and environmentally damaging products that tend to get used in bulk at Christmastime, PlanToys' products will be offered as a sustainable alternative.
Instead of plastic, these eco-friendly toys are made from rubber -- used from trees that are cut down after their prime. All of the materials are locally sourced and chemical-free and the playful toys even use organic colors when they are hand-painted.
This collaboration between Whole Foods, PlanToys and PBS Kids brings sustainable Christmas toys to kids, guilt-free purchases for parents as well as increased sales and marketing opportunities to all three of the brands.
