I’m not good with greens, but I always smile when I stumble across a new idea that helps us non-green thumb guys.
Designer Kyoungho Ha came up with this roof enhancement idea. The Natural Protector is a modular pots system that can be installed on a roof top and combined just like a puzzle. Each pot opens up on all four sides to form a waterproof layout-base for growing plants.
In summer, the plants on the roof gardens lower the building's temperature, while in winter they keep the structure warm. This system is an energy saver and also helps the environment.
I like it! It’s simple and green.
