The worldwide need for more economical means of transportation is expanding into different, unexpected verticals, which is evident with the 'Solectrike' e-bike design. Created with the intention of being an economical means of transportation for tourists in beach towns, the 'Solectrike' e-bike design would enable sightseers to travel between beaches or explore cities without having to stop because of fatigue thanks to the electric design of the trike.
Featuring a built-in umbrella, the 'Solectrike' e-bike design would help to expand the offerings of coastal locations and help explorers to experience the culture by doing as the locals do. Designed by the Braunschweig University of Art, the e-bike is merely a concept, but could forecast what's to come with regard to transportation rental systems.
