Traditional Bluetooth ear pieces have come a long way from their humble beginnings, and now the Sony Xperia Ear Assistant looks to help bring them an enhanced level of capabilities.
Following on the design of the original Sony Xperia Ear headset, the Sony Xperia Ear Assistant is capable of taking hands-free calls, interpreting voice commands and even playing audio notifications. However, the Sony Xperia Ear Assistant goes a step further by incorporating gesture control capabilities.
The Sony Xperia Ear Assistant enables wearers to setup the ear piece to interpret their head movements as a sign for a command. Users can setup the device to respond to left, right, forward and back motion movements to play a certain playlist, turn up the volume or even call a designated contact.
