Do not be deceived by the Drip Lamp. It may look very much like a faucet, but it is actually a clever light fixture. In its delightful deception, it adds a healthy dose of quirky character to whatever living space it is placed in.
Created by Italian designer Fabio Servolo, the Drip Lamp will surely have visitors talking, especially after they bashfully realize that turning the handle won't result in a rush of water. Instead, turning the tap switches the light on. This is what the designer has to say about such an action: "This makes a 'short circuit' between two different everyday actions, turning on a tap and switching on a light; it triggers the feeling of flowing energy, in this case electricity, which is used up."
