Launched at Helsinki's Design Week 2015, this drip coffee machine simplifies the brewing process, allowing it to be completely transparent. Lauri Kakela, a student at the Collaborative and Industrial Design program at Helsinki Aalto University, created this 8AM drip coffee machine. The java maker is made up of two glass holders that are placed on top of a colorful base -- altogether resembling the type of laboratory equipment used by scientists.
Inspired by the German appliance brand, Moccamaster, this machine is easily understood, making any user able to master the perfect cup of coffee right away. Exemplifying the strength of simplicity in design, this drip coffee machine displays every aspect of the brewing process -- great for the coffee connoisseur.
