Doodle is getting geeky techno junkies all in a fluster - it's a "work-in-progress that explores the possibilities of intuitive and direct drawing in 3D virtual space". Unfortunately there's only a limited demo available on their site using a conventional mouse (Shockwave needed). The 3D version allows for creation of drawn 3D shapes (spirals, swirls, faces, handwriting through to more complex objects). Still looks pretty cool though.
Implications - These doodles could easily find their way into countless art galleries, and they certainly would have me lining up! If you're the kind of person who can appreciate funky, geeky artwork then the 'Doodle in 3D' artwork is a demo definitely worth trying.
